R2R Conducted a Waste Analysis and Characterization Study (WACS) at DavNor Hospital Samal Zone

DAVNOR HOSPITAL SAMAL ZONE | R2R Facilitates the Feasibility Study (FS) preparation to establish Davao Del Norte Provincial Health Care Waste Treatment Facility. The team is scheduled to conduct the waste analysis and characterization study (WACS) of all hospitals operated by the provincial government within February 2022. The first stop is the conduct of 2-weekdays, 1-weekend full WACS of DavNor Hospital Samal Zone, located in Peñaplata, Island Garden City of Samal, Feb. 17-20, 2022.

Shown in the picture below is the courtesy meeting with Dr. Catherine Valera, Chief of Hospital, Mr. Nestor Ragas of General Services, and the R2R Team for the details of the 4-day activity. Walkthrough of the hospital facility followed shortly. The actual waste sorting and accounting will start early tomorrow in collaboration with the General Services staff of the hospital.
