The Public Scoping of Alsons Aquaculture Project in Alabel, Sarangani Province

PUBLIC SCOPING | The Public Scoping of Alsons Aquaculture Project in Alabel, Sarangani Province has been conducted on Nov. 25-26, 2021, following the Interim Guidelines on Public Participation in the Implementation of the PEISS (PD 1586), EMB Memo Circular 2020-30. Alsons Aquaculture Corp (AAC) is the country’s largest exporter of premium quality bangus and other seafood.

AAC, together with R2R, undertook the public scoping through 1. Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) by sector following social distancing; 2. Consultation through online channels such as video conferencing. R2R, as consultant and EIA preparer, assisted the Alsons Technical and CSR Team in the conduct of these 2-day activities.
